What Is Caregiver Mediated ABA?

Here at Niche ABA we provide evidence-based applied behavior analysis (ABA) therapy, throughout the state of Arizona, for children aged 18 months to 12 years old diagnosed with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD). With personalized, flexible, and collaborative Telehealth support, finding the right care for your family is easy! Whether you are new to ABA therapy or you have tried traditional ABA therapy and it wasn’t the perfect fit, Niche ABA is committed to providing accessible, compassionate, and neurodiversity affirming care to your family.

Instead of therapy being something that only happens in a clinic or when an RBT is in your home, we work hand-in-hand with parents and caregivers to weave learning opportunities into everyday life. Parents and caregivers will participate in trainings, with the guidance of their board-certified behavior analyst (BCBA), to learn essential ABA skills that will help them to better understand their child’s behavior. This approach helps children build important skills while caregivers gain the confidence, tools, and know-how to support their child long after the session ends. We empower parents and caregivers to lead their child’s treatment while we work together to target meaningful skills that make a real difference in everyday life. It’s about turning families into empowered coaches, cheerleaders, and champions- because you know your child best and together, we can help them shine in their own unique way.

About Me

Hi there! I’m Briar, a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) with a big heart for learners and their families. I specialize in caregiver mediated ABA because I believe parents and caregivers know their child’s behavior best. My passion is helping families feel confident, supported, and celebrated as we navigate Autism together. With a mix of science, creativity, and lots of play, I aim to make learning joyful and meaningful for every child while giving families the tools and knowledge they need to feel empowered at home and beyond. Around here, progress is something we build together, step by step, smile by smile.

You are looking for balance

Traditional ABA is not for everyone and that’s okay. With caregiver mediated ABA you will have the flexibility to fit in additional therapies, school, and family time. Caregiver mediated ABA prioritizes building caregiver confidence and skills to make progress towards your child’s goals daily. Skills are practiced where your child feels safe and comfortable with their favorite person (you!) as their guide.
